Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lyman Leach! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mr Satan! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Satan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Satan showed some decent athleticism there. Satan is trying to control. Leach wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Leach taking some punishment here, with Satan in his half guard. Leach keeping control of the position. Leach moves into full guard.
Leach is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Leach is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leach keeping moving, preventing Satan from controlling successfully. Leach throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leach working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Satan. Leach is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Leach is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Satan defends well. Satan is stalling in the full guard. Satan working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Satan postures up and lands a big shot to Leach's brow. Leach is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Leach stops Satan from getting back to his feet.
Leach is working for a kimura but Satan is defending it quite comfortably.
Satan looks like he's trying to stand up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Satan can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leach seems to be working for a kimura but Satan defends the submission attempt. Leach is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Satan has managed to free his arm - good work. Satan is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Satan pushes Leach off but Leach dives into side control.
Leach is trying to get an arm triangle but Satan is defending well. The strikes coming from Leach are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Leach tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Leach wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Satan, who protects the arm well.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lyman Leach dominated that round. That's time! Leach's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Satan misses the shot to the body. Leach closes the distance and clinches. Leach lands an elbow that stopped Satan in his tracks for a moment. Satan tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Satan takes an elbow to the temple. Satan tightens his grip and picks Leach up, before dumping him to the ground. Leach manages to land in guard. Satan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Leach's head. Satan wants to control from the top but Leach keeps moving. Leach manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Satan manages to get himself to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Satan wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Leach manages to pass to side control. Satan is staying active underneath Leach, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Leach is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Satan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Leach. Satan is trying to stand up here but Leach is controlling him well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Leach trying to control the action but Satan is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Satan is looking to escape. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Leach is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Satan throws out a leg kick but Leach moves out of range and Satan only half commits. Leach really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Leach closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Satan swings for the body but Leach moves out of range.
It looked like Leach was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Leach instigates a clinch. Leach tries to score a body lock takedown but Satan shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Leach struggles to land a body shot inside as Satan controls his hands.
Leach lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Leach gets through Satan's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Leach unloads a knee to the mid-section. Satan lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Leach pulls guard effortlessly. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Leach manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Satan manages to get himself to full guard.
Lyman Leach overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Leach prevents Satan from getting back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Satan keeping moving, preventing Leach from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lyman Leach dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Leach clinches up with Satan and pushes him back against the cage. Leach breaks from the clinch.
Leach is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Satan can do to turn this around? Satan drives through with a takedown into Leach's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Satan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Leach's head. Satan is fighting to break Leach's control of his arms but Leach is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Leach pushes a forearm under Satan's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Satan is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
