The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Chad Campbell and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alpha throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Thomas tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Alpha is in Thomas's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thomas looking for a guillotine here but Alpha defends easily.
Thomas throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Thomas is looking to stand up but Alpha isn't so interested in that idea.

Alpha shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Thomas sprawls well. Thomas wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Alpha gets slowly back to his feet.
