The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reyn darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Jack taking some punishment here, with Reyn in his half guard. Jack should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Reyn looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jack with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Reyn tries to pass to full mount but Jack defends it. Reyn is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Jack is hurt! He's hurt bad - Reyn fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Jack from any more punishment! Congratulations to Reyn! Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Reyn Reyn! Reyn Reyn retains his featherweight title!
