Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Burt Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Logan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Burt Watson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Logan! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Watson gets a double leg takedown into Logan's guard. Logan looks winded! Watson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Watson lands a couple of digs. Watson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Logan wants to stand but Watson is controlling the position. Watson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Watson controlling from the top position. Watson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Watson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Watson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Watson wants to pass the guard but Logan is keeping the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Logan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Watson closes the distance and pushes Logan back into the cage. Watson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Logan clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Can Logan hold on?! Watson is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Watson throwing damaging strikes from the back! Logan could be in trouble here!
Watson is persistently looking for the submission but Logan is defending it well.
Watson is looking for the choke from the back position but Logan is controlling his hands well. Watson just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Logan is rocked! Watson is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Watson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Logan defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Watson is landing with strikes from the back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Watson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Watson lands in his opponent's guard. Watson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Logan can do to turn this around? Watson wants to pass the guard but Logan is keeping the position. Watson lands a couple of decent looking shots. Watson postures up and lands a big shot to Logan's brow. Logan is still in real trouble! Can Watson finish him? Watson is looking to stand up but Logan won't let him. Watson sitting in guard, not really doing much. Watson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Logan is proving hard to escape from. Logan is breathing heavily.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Watson clinches with his opponent.
The referee calls for Watson to work.
Watson successfully pulls guard.
Watson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Logan is one step ahead there. Logan seems to have recovered his senses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Logan prevents Watson from getting back to his feet. Watson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Logan won't allow Watson to get back to his feet. Watson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Watson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Logan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Watson darts in and clinches Logan up against the cage. Watson successfully pulls guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Logan tries to free his leg and advance position but Watson is retaining full guard. Logan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Watson is pulling down on Logan's head. It's preventing any offense from Logan, at least for the moment.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Burt Watson dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Watson moves into range and clinches up with Logan. Watson breaks from the clinch.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Watson's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Watson tries to free his leg and advance position but Logan is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Watson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Logan on his heels. He'll look to pass Logan's guard now, I'm sure. Watson tries to stand but Logan is controlling from the bottom. Watson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Burt Watson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Watson sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Watson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Watson winds up and cracks Logan with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Watson tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Logan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Watson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Watson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Logan defends it well. Logan is looking to control Watson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Logan avoid being mounted? The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Watson with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Burt Watson showed his dominance in that final round. Well Watson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
