Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Stokes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Dirt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adrian Stokes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Dirt! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jonathan Paton and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dirt shoots in and gets a takedown into Stokes's guard. Stokes is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dirt is aware though and is defending well. Dirt drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stokes manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dirt has Stokes in his guard. Stokes wants to control from the top but Dirt keeps moving. Dirt is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Stokes advances position into side control! Stokes is trying to get an arm triangle but Dirt is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dirt is trying to control Stokes's posture but Stokes avoids it. Stokes fails to land a wild elbow strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dirt can't do much from the bottom here. Dirt sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Dirt is trying to get back to full guard. Stokes wants to take a breather but Dirt is having none of it. Stokes is stalling here. Dirt is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Stokes seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Dirt has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Stokes tries to improve position but can't. Dirt stands up and we're back to a striking position. Stokes fails with a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stokes gets caught flat footed, as Dirt shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Dirt stands and throws Stokes's legs to the side, diving into side control. Dirt trying to control the action but Stokes is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Dirt cracks Stokes with a big elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dirt is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stokes knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Dirt wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stokes keeps working. Dirt lands a few punches from side control. A lull in the action here. Dirt wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Stokes, who protects the arm well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dirt decides to stand up, so the ref orders Stokes to his feet. Dirt shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Dirt was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Dirt wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stokes keeps working. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. A lull in the action here as Dirt stalls from top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Dirt dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dirt with a flurry of punches that miss. Stokes looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Dirt sitting in guard, not really doing much. Dirt trying to control the position from guard on top but Stokes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dirt wants to pass the guard but Stokes is keeping the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Joe Dirt is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dirt shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Stokes manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Dirt trying to control but Stokes is working from the bottom. Dirt slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Dirt tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dirt lands a decent elbow from side control. Dirt wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stokes keeps working. Stokes wants to get back to his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dirt is putting a hurting on Stokes here, landing some big shots from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Dirt showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Stokes steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Dirt. That one must have hurt. Dirt shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Stokes napping and manages to drive through into side control! Stokes tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dirt wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Stokes looks to move to half guard but instead Dirt has passed into mount! Damn! Dirt trying to control but he's not successful this time. Dirt controlling the pace for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stokes wants to try and get back to his feet. Dirt scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Stokes?
That's one minute gone in the round. Dirt working away from the top, dropping strikes. Joe Dirt has got the better of the ground game so far. Stokes slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Dirt lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Dirt lands strikes from half guard. Dirt moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Stokes. Both fighters are breathing heavily. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stokes tries to bench press Dirt off him but Dirt keeps the position. Dirt stands up. Dirt fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stokes sprawls well initially but Dirt persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Dirt performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Dirt stands up and beckons Stokes to join him on the feet. A kick lands to the mid section there for Dirt. Joe Dirt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dirt scores with a jab. Dirt feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Dirt decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Stokes, up you get! Dirt looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Dirt controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Dirt pushing down on Stokes's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dirt content to control rather than advance. Dirt is continuing to stall. Adrian Stokes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Joe Dirt is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that's the end of the fight! Joe Dirt comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Dirt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
