Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jose Booth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Warren Chadstone!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Ben Watson and Ben Hemmingworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chadstone closes this distance looking for a takedown but Booth circles away.
Booth dives in for a single leg takedown but Chadstone sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Booth will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Chadstone throws a low kick but Booth moves out of range easily.
Booth seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Chadstone closes the distance and clinches.

Booth escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chadstone misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Booth lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Chadstone tries to keep at a distance but Booth has taken the fight into the clinch.
Chadstone is trying to break the clinch but Booth is controlling him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Booth stalling the fight.
Chadstone has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Booth is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Jose Booth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Warren Chadstone.

Booth manages to break the clinch.
Booth displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Chadstone.
Warren Chadstone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chadstone closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Booth quickly recovers to half guard.
Chadstone trying to mount his opponent but Booth defends it.
Booth has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chadstone is working away from the top position though.
Booth tries to roll over but Chadstone keeps him under control.

Chadstone has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Booth defend it? Chadstone steps over the head and cranks it - Booth is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Chadstone!
