Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carl Maywho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dakota Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Carl Maywho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 9 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dakota Brooks! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Aleksandr Martynov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maywho takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Brooks moves into range and clinches up with Maywho. Maywho is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Brooks gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. A right hand to the body from Brooks.
A short right from Brooks on the inside. Maywho is looking to take this one to the mat. Brooks is pushing Maywho up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Brooks doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A head punch blocked on the inside by Brooks. Brooks cracks Maywho with a nice body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maywho is trying to break the clinch but Brooks is controlling him. Maywho goes for a takedown in the clinch but Brooks prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carl Maywho. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brooks pushes Maywho back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Maywho tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Maywho breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Brooks lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
It looks like Carl Maywho has been cut. Brooks keeps the fight on the outside. It seemed like Brooks was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Brooks lands a big head kick that sends Maywho tumbling to the mat! Brooks takes a step backwards and waves Maywho back to his feet - he wants the finish! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brooks pushes Maywho up against the cage in a clinch. A short left from Brooks.
Maywho is rocked! Brooks lands a nice elbow. Oh Maywho is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Maywho takes a knee to the side of the body. Brooks scores with a shot to the side of Maywho's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brooks breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Maywho closes the distance but Brooks moves to the side and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Dakota Brooks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Maywho is breathing heavily. Brooks catches Maywho with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Maywho forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dakota Brooks! Dakota Brooks decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
