Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between justice potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Robida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robida has chosen Walk as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, justice potter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danny Robida!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robida pushes potter up against the cage in a clinch.
potter is working for takedown but Robida is calmly controlling the position for now.
Robida gets underhooks to prevent potter's takedown attempt.
potter drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Robida gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for justice potter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
potter has Robida pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Robida manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Robida jumps guard and drags potter to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
potter postures up in Robida's guard and throws a big left but Robida blocks it.
Robida is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
potter thows a big elbow that misses.
Robida tries to strike from the bottom.
potter has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Robida manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. potter manages to get himself to full guard.
Robida has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
potter has his foot on Robida's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Robida works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Robida sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed potter's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Robida with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Robida is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Robida is looking for a kimura but potter is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Robida to get the leverage.
Robida has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can potter defend it? Robida steps over the head and cranks it - potter is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Robida!
