Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Gorden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wolfram Stelzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stelzer has chosen Satyricon - K.I.N.G. as his entrance music. Wolfram Stelzer will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 12 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeff Gorden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Wolfram Stelzer! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gorden fails in his attempt to clinch. Stelzer gets a clinch. Stelzer has a couple of punches blocked by Gorden.
Gorden has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Stelzer is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Gorden looking for a takedown. Stelzer tries to work over Gorden's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Nice body punch from Stelzer - that landed with a thud.

Stelzer is trying to push Gorden away but Gorden has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Gorden controlling the action here for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gorden looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeff Gorden. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stelzer tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Stelzer is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Gorden gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stelzer has clasped his hands together around Gorden's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. A lull in the action here as Stelzer stalls from top position. Gorden struggling a bit here. Gorden is looking to reverse the position. The referee asks Stelzer politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Stelzer prefers to stall for the moment though. Gorden is trying to work for a sweep but Stelzer has mounted him! Stelzer prevents Gorden from getting the reversal. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gorden is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Stelzer controlling from the full mount. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Stelzer working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Let's hope that Stelzer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Gorden tries to lock up and control but Stelzer gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Gorden really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Gorden sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Gorden trying to hold on to Stelzer's head to control him but Stelzer postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stelzer trying to control the pace. Gorden is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Stelzer perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Gorden wants to control but Stelzer is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Gorden looks to score with a jab to the body but Stelzer is just out of range. A jab from Gorden finds it's way through Stelzer's defenses. Stelzer loads up on a big right hand but Gorden slips the punch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stelzer throws a hook to the side of Gorden's head but Gorden sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Gorden was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Good leg kick by Gorden there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Stelzer walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. A jab from Gorden misses. Stelzer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Stelzer staying out of range there. Stelzer feints the counter takedown. Stelzer keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A looping hook to the body misses from Gorden. Stelzer does a little dance to reset his feet. Stelzer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gorden. Stelzer blocks a head kick by Gorden.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stelzer takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gorden cracks Stelzer with an open hand slap. Gorden closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Stelzer swings widly with a right hand
and Gorden counters with an outside leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Wolfram Stelzer will probably get the nod. That's time! Gorden's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Gorden closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gorden lands in his opponent's guard. Gorden being controlled here momentarily. Stelzer looking for subs off his back but Gorden has passed one foot through into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Gorden is just content to waste time from the top position. Stelzer takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Gorden controlling from the top position. Stelzer pulls Gorden in close to prevent any damage. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gorden trying to control but Stelzer is working from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. The fighters circling - Stelzer throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Stelzer lands with a hook. Gorden tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Gorden tries for a takedown but Stelzer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Stelzer keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gorden. Stelzer misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gorden.
Gorden connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Gorden thows a left - swing and a miss! Gorden closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stelzer circles away. Gorden tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Stelzer misses with a hook. Gorden ducked under it nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gorden looks to land a right hand but Stelzer moved out of range. Gorden cracks Stelzer with an open hand slap. Jeff Gorden is winning the standup battle so far. Stelzer thows a left - swing and a miss! Stelzer lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Stelzer looks to score with a jab to the body but Gorden is just out of range. Gorden swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stelzer misses the jab. Gorden throws a hook but Stelzer avoids it easily. Gorden takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Stelzer lands with an uppercut that bounces Gorden off the cage and back into range. Gorden throws a shot from downtown. Stelzer moves away and avoids it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gorden sizes up Stelzer with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Left hook, right uppercut from Stelzer. Stelzer's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Stelzer duly obliges. Gorden fails with a takedown attempt from distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Wolfram Stelzer will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Stelzer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gorden was well out of range. Poor timing from Stelzer. Gorden misses with a hook. Stelzer ducked under it nicely. Stelzer works the jab nicely. Gorden throws a sloppy head kick and Stelzer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Stelzer takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Decent striking displayed by Gorden there. Stelzer dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Stelzer slips under a jab from Gorden. Gorden takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Gorden slips a jab and a cross from Stelzer.
This has been an exciting period of action! Gorden gets caught napping as Stelzer dives in and scores a takedown. Gorden manages to retain guard. Gorden working a defensive guard but Stelzer passes into half guard.

Stelzer is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Gorden working a defensive guard but Stelzer manages to pass into side control anyway.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Gorden is looking to regain half guard here but Stelzer keeps moving and retains side control. Stelzer tries to move to mount but Gorden blocks the move with his legs. Stelzer has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Gorden struggling a bit here. Stelzer trying to control the position but Gorden is working away. Gorden tries to improve position but can't. Gorden wants to control but Stelzer postures up. Gorden tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gorden is working hard here to advance position. Gorden struggling a bit here. Stelzer remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Wolfram Stelzer is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Gorden wants to control but Stelzer postures up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Stelzer lands with a good body shot. Gorden keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gorden throws an overhand right that lands on Stelzer's shoulder, as Stelzer tries to avoid the shot. Stelzer looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stelzer changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Stelzer throws a one two combo.
Stelzer shoots in but no luck this time. Gorden blocks a jab. Gorden avoids the body shot from Stelzer.
Stelzer lands with a shot to the body. Gorden looks for a takedown but Stelzer sprawls well. Gorden getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Stelzer jabbing away but nothing is landing. Gorden scores with a body shot.
Jeff Gorden has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A swing and a miss from Gorden. Gorden takes one to the chin there.
And that's the end of the fight! Wolfram Stelzer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Stelzer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
