The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eldo shoots in but Griffith avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Griffith throws a quick counter head kick but Eldo was just out of range.
Eldo goes for a double leg but Griffith avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Griffith continues to drive forward.

Horrible takedown attempt by Griffith or perhaps it was just good defense by Eldo, which made it look bad.
Eldo dives in for a single leg takedown but Griffith sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Eldo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Griffith avoids it really well and circles away.
Eldo shoots for a double leg takedown but Griffith sprawls well. He's pushed Eldo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Griffith is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Griffith fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Eldo, pushing him back against the cage.
Griffith can't find room to land a body shot as Eldo controls the action.

Eldo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Griffith counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Eldo thinking.

Griffith displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Eldo.
Griffith goes for a double leg but Eldo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Eldo continues to drive forward.
Eldo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Griffith tries to avoid it but Eldo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Griffith to the ground. Griffith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Griffith shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Eldo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Griffith content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Griffith missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Eldo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Griffith is controlling him.
Griffith working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Eldo's head.

Eldo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Eldo tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Griffith missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Eldo shoots in for a takedown but Griffith shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A head kick from Eldo lands but Griffith takes it in his stride.

Eldo keeps control of Griffith as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Eldo misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Griffith.

Eldo lands a hook that stumbles Griffith back into the cage. Eldo follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Griffith to the canvas! Eldo pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Griffith has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
