Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Carlos Django!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jackson West!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by West.
West chopping away at his opponent's legs.
West connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Django has managed to clinch.
West crunches a lovely knee into Django's ribcage.
Django takes an elbow to the forehead.
West pressing his opponent against the cage.
Django takes a knee to the side of the body.
Django wants the takedown. West is fighting it off but Django persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in West's guard against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Django trying to control but West is working from the bottom.
West preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
West wants to hit a switch here but Django passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for West there!
Django avoids the attempt from West to control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
West's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Django lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Django looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
West keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Django landing strikes from the mount and West is in trouble!
West takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
West is bucking up trying to escape but Django cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
West tries to lock up and control but Django gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Django postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. West looks a forlorn figure.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

West is rocked!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Django! West is hurt baaadly! Django is firing away with more strikes - West is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
