Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rudolf Leblanc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Hanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James Hanson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rudolf Leblanc! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Hanson! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Igor Prikhodko and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hanson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hanson closes the distance and clinches. Hanson tries to score a body lock takedown but Leblanc shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Hanson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hanson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Leblanc really is a fat lump. Hanson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
No luck for Leblanc with that takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leblanc feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hanson's calf. Leblanc shoots in for a takedown but Hanson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Hanson gets the takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leblanc takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. You can see the frustration on Leblanc's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Hanson in side control lands a decent elbow. Hanson working the head with strikes. Leblanc is letting Hanson control him for a moment. Hanson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Leblanc has escaped the position, nice work there. Hanson tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Leblanc striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Leblanc seems a little lost for a moment, as Hanson dominates the positioning. Leblanc struggling a bit here. Leblanc throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Hanson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hanson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hanson lands an elbow. Leblanc tries to buck Hanson off but Hanson is having none of it. Hanson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Leblanc is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Leblanc seems a little lost for a moment, as Hanson dominates the positioning. Hanson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Hanson tries to stand but Leblanc is controlling his head. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hanson working the head with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Hanson dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Hanson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Leblanc moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Hanson sitting in guard, not really doing much. Hanson wants to pass the guard but Leblanc is keeping the position. James Hanson has got the better of the ground game so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leblanc looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hanson is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hanson pushing down on Leblanc's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Hanson is controlling the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hanson missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Leblanc avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hanson. Hanson is controlling the pace.
Leblanc actively working from the bottom here. Hanson is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hanson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Hanson seems to be looking for submissions.
Leblanc on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Hanson. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Hanson looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Leblanc avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hanson. Hanson wants to stand up but Leblanc is controlling the position.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Leblanc throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hanson forces Leblanc back against the cage and clinches. Hanson wants a takedown but no success here.

James Hanson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Hanson falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Leblanc to counter with a crisp jab. Hanson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Leblanc, pushing him back against the cage. Hanson lands a takedown into guard.
Hanson is stalling in the full guard. Hanson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hanson wants to pass the guard but Leblanc is keeping the position. Hanson controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leblanc thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Leblanc can't keep his opponent in guard - Hanson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Leblanc might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Leblanc wants to control but Hanson is keeping busy.
Leblanc wants to sweep but Hanson has passed to side control! Hanson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Leblanc is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Hanson is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Hanson works his way to his opponent's back.
I would not like to be Leblanc right now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hanson loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Leblanc hold on?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leblanc is trying to stand back up. Hanson has good solid back control here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Leblanc trying to control the hands but Hanson breaks the grip. Hanson really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Leblanc. Leblanc tries to break free.
Hanson avoiding Leblanc 's attempts to control his hands. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
And that's the end of the fight! James Hanson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Hanson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
