Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arial Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dane Brigglett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arial Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dane Brigglett! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good shot there by Brigglett. Brigglett has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Jones connects with a body shot. Dane Brigglett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Jones takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
It looks like Arial Jones has been cut. Jones throws a hook to the side of Brigglett's head but Brigglett sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

It looks like Dane Brigglett has been cut. Jones fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Brigglett has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Jones shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jones tries a head kick but it misses.

Brigglett gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Jones is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Brigglett defends it well. That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones works his way into side control. Brigglett avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Jones. Jones thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Jones grinds an elbow into Brigglett's temple.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Brigglett rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Jones's guard! Nice work there by Brigglett!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jones had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Brigglett defends it easily. Jones might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Brigglett avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Jones is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brigglett is aware though and is defending well. Jones wants to sweep here but Brigglett controlling him for the moment. Brigglett throws an elbow that misses. Jones uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Brigglett's guard. Nice move by Jones!

Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Brigglett is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones throwing strikes but missing. Arial Jones dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Jones has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brigglett misses with a two punch combination.

Brigglett ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jones moves away. Brigglett throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jones sees it coming and avoids it easily. Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brigglett gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Brigglett must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Brigglett got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brigglett has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted. Jones keeping moving, preventing Brigglett from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brigglett tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard. Brigglett with a nice head shot there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brigglett trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Arial Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

That was a close second round but I would say that Arial Jones will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Jones throws a head kick that misses. Brigglett throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jones stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Brigglett loads up on a big right hand but Jones slips the punch. Jones lands with an overhand left. Jones lands a nice shot that snaps Brigglett's head back.
Jones moves away from the strike by Brigglett. Jones feinted with a counter takedown. Brigglett paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Brigglett fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Brigglett lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brigglett throws a wild body kick that Jones sees coming a mile off. Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Arial Jones is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Brigglett throws a body punch but Jones moves out of range. Brigglett misses with a kick to the body and Jones counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Brigglett! A lull in the action here as Jones stalls from top position. Jones is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Brigglett is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Dane Brigglett has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jones looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Brigglett is avoiding damage well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones trying to control the position but Brigglett is working away. A lull in the action here. Brigglett takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

And that's the end of the fight! Arial Jones showed his dominance in that final round. Well Jones has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
