Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jacques Mesrine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Strzelba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mesrine's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, No Church In The Wild. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jacques Mesrine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jan Strzelba!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Strzelba.
Mesrine walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Jacques Mesrine has been cut.
Strzelba throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Mesrine counters with a series of strikes. Strzelba will be more careful next time no doubt.
Mesrine throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Strzelba.

Mesrine closes the distance and pushes Strzelba back into the ropes.

Mesrine successfully pulls guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Mesrine wants to stand up but Strzelba is controlling him.

Mesrine is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Strzelba is controlling him.

Mesrine managing to control the position.
Strzelba looking to sit in guard and control but Mesrine gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Strzelba is looking to stand up but Mesrine isn't so interested in that idea.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Mesrine drops back looking for a leg! Strzelba is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Strzelba manages to kick Mesrine off! Mesrine jumps back into Strzelba's guard.
Mesrine won't allow Strzelba to get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mesrine throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mesrine scores with a head kick. Strzelba tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Strzelba looks to land a combination but Mesrine avoids it well.
Mesrine connects with a high kick.
Jan Strzelba is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Strzelba throws a head kick but Mesrine moves out of range.

Mesrine sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Strzelba to the ground! Mesrine dives into full mount looking to finish!

Strzelba is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mesrine is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Strzelba is still on wobbly legs! Can Mesrine finish him?
Mesrine shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Strzelba defends it nicely.
A low kick from Strzelba misses
and Mesrine counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Strzelba has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!

A relieved looking Jacques Mesrine thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
