Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Cicero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Langhi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul Cicero could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Michael Langhi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Paul Cicero! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michael Langhi! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cicero shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Langhi's guard. Cicero gets to his feet. Langhi looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Cicero ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Langhi moves away. A swing and a miss from Langhi. Langhi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cicero. Cicero is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Cicero fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Langhi avoids it really well and circles away. Cicero has closed the distance and engaged Langhi in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cicero tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Langhi just stands there and leans against the cage. Langhi has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Cicero decides to pull guard. Cicero on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cicero tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Langhi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Cicero is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Langhi presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Cicero has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Langhi is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Cicero. That's going to take a lot out of him. Langhi working hard to break the clinch. Cicero pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Langhi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cicero. Langhi takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Cicero seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Cicero uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Langhi.
Langhi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cicero sees it coming and avoids it easily. Langhi throws out a loose jab but Cicero uses good head movement to avoid it. Cicero uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Langhi. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cicero is defended easily by Langhi.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Langhi just misses with a punch to the body.
Cicero moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Langhi misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Cicero moves into the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Langhi is defending well against a takedown attempt. Cicero's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Cicero moves in looking to clinch but Langhi pushes him off. Cicero misses with a takedown attempt and Langhi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Paul Cicero has been cut. Langhi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cicero.
Langhi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Langhi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Langhi throws a shot from downtown. Cicero moves away and avoids it. Langhi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cicero. Cicero attempts a counter takedown but Langhi avoids it well and moves away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cicero shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Langhi as he jumps to the side. Nice takedown defense from Langhi. No joy for Cicero on that attempt. Langhi loads up on a big right hand but Cicero slips the punch. Cicero looks for a takedown but Langhi sprawls well. Cicero is breathing heavily. Cicero keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Langhi throws a jab but it's blocked by Cicero. Cicero is looking to counter the offense by Langhi and move into the clinch. Langhi throws an overhand right that lands on Cicero's shoulder, as Cicero tries to avoid the shot. Cicero closes the distance and clinches up with Langhi, looking for a takedown. Cicero pushes Langhi against the cage but Langhi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Langhi looks like he wants to counter punch here. Cicero keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cicero gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Langhi. Langhi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cicero steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Langhi. Langhi swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Langhi throws a hook to the side of Cicero's head but Cicero sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Cicero tries to clinch there but Langhi circles away.
Langhi throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cicero on the side of the head. Cicero on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Paul Cicero's cut is getting worse. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cicero blocks a jab. Cicero changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Cicero tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Langhi scores with a counter punch that sends Cicero to the canvas! Langhi smells blood - he's punishing Cicero with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Cicero has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Langhi! Michael Langhi tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
