Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Jr Washington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Marx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Washington has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Karl Marx acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marx moves into the clinch successfully.

Washington tries to pull guard but Marx holds him up against the cage and eventually Washington drops back down to his feet.

Marx is working for takedown but Washington is calmly controlling the position for now.

Marx isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Washington stacks Marx on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Washington!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Marx tries to lock up and control but Washington gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Marx really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Washington. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well Marx has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
