Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Beltshazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beltshazar misses with a hook.
Smith with a nice cross.

Smith looks to throw the jab but Beltshazar is out of range.
Beltshazar has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Smith throws a shot from downtown. Beltshazar moves away and avoids it.
Smith dodges the punch combination from Beltshazar.
Smith seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Beltshazar lands a glancing blow to the side of Smith's head.
Smith throws a right and a left that Beltshazar avoids nicely.
Smith has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Foot Loves in the buildup to the fight.
Smith throws a hook but Beltshazar blocks it.
Jason Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Beltshazar throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Smith.
Beltshazar misses with a few strikes there.
Beltshazar walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Smith scores with a decent looking hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Beltshazar throws a series of strikes that have Smith backpedaling.

Beltshazar sends Smith crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Beltshazar is motioning to the referee to let Smith up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Smith is rocked!

It looks like Jason Smith has been cut.
Beltshazar misses with a double jab.
Smith seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Oh Smith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Beltshazar cracks Smith with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Smith tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Beltshazar pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Smith is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
