Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean Lulz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Quick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quick has chosen Rock You Like A Hurricane as his entrance music. Ray Quick is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quick gets a takedown into half guard. Lulz missing with punches from the bottom.
Lulz wants to control but Quick is keeping busy.
Quick is stalling here. Lulz is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Quick seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Lulz has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Lulz wants to stand but Quick has his arm trapped. Lulz could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Quick tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Lulz presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Lulz get's back to his feet. Ray Quick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lulz doesn't succeed with the takedown and Quick counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lulz won't be happy with that.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quick working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Quick wants to control but Lulz is keeping him busy. Lulz is looking to reverse the position. Lulz is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Quick looks gassed! Lulz gets full guard. Quick loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Quick prevents Lulz from getting back to his feet. Quick trying to control the position from guard on top but Lulz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lulz working a defensive guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Lulz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Lulz tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Lulz is looking to stand up but Quick isn't so interested in that idea. Lulz throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Quick really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lulz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lulz keeping moving, preventing Quick from controlling successfully. Lulz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Quick is one step ahead there. Quick wants to control from the top but Lulz keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quick stopping the sweep attempt from Lulz. Lulz is trying to control the position but Quick postures up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Quick drives through with a takedown into guard. Quick postures up.
Quick thows a big elbow that misses. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lulz is on top in guard.
Quick keeping moving, preventing Lulz from controlling successfully. Lulz thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quick looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Lulz trying to control the position from guard on top but Quick is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lulz slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Lulz throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Lulz is looking to stand up but Quick won't let him. Lulz is pushing down on Quick's leg trying to pass to half guard. Quick is fighting to maintain full guard but Lulz has managed to sneak the leg through. Lulz content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Lulz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Quick keeps working. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ray Quick dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Quick shoots and misses and Lulz counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lulz. Lulz is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Quick is trying to keep Lulz in close.

The fighters roll with the hold and Quick manages to kick Lulz off! Lulz jumps back into Quick's guard. Quick is breathing heavily. Lulz won't allow Quick to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Lulz wants to clinch. Lulz shoots in and bounces Quick off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Lulz sitting in guard, not really doing much. Quick keeping moving, preventing Lulz from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lulz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Quick's guard. Lulz is trying to control the action in half guard but Quick is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Lulz is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Lulz stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Sean Lulz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lulz drives through with a takedown into guard. Lulz works a leg free and moves into half guard. Lulz seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Quick does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Lulz not landing any meaningful shots this time. Lulz is looking for a kimura but Quick is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lulz to get the leverage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quick keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Lulz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Quick keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Quick looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Lulz tries to stand but can't do so whilst Quick controls his leg. Lulz is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Quick wants to get back to full guard. Lulz trying to control the pace. Lulz throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lulz in particular looking to stall. Lulz is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Quick doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lulz. Lulz tries to stand and escape but Quick is controlling the position. Lulz passes the guard and advances to mount! Quick can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sean Lulz dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Lulz thows a leg kick but Quick checks it and Quick counters with a single leg into guard. Lulz didn't expect that. Quick postures up.
Lulz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Quick tries to free his leg and advance position but Lulz is retaining full guard. Quick postures up in Lulz's guard and throws a big left but Lulz blocks it. Lulz pulls Quick in to control the position. Lulz throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Lulz doesn't manage to clinch there - Quick circles away.
Lulz shoots in but Quick avoids the takedown attempt easily. Lulz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Quick takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quick has his takedown stuffed and Lulz counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Lulz showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Lulz slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Lulz trying to control the action but Quick is working from the bottom. Lulz tries for a kimura but Quick is defending well. Quick avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Lulz.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lulz slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Sean Lulz just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Lulz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lulz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lulz stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Lulz closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Quick is refusing to be controlled, as Lulz sits in half guard.
