Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Mozgov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christoper Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mozgov looks to land a body kick but Wallace moved away.
Mozgov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wallace pinned against the cage. Wallace gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mozgov takes one on the chin but seems OK.

It looks like Vladimir Mozgov has been cut.
Wallace keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Wallace throws out a loose jab but Mozgov uses good head movement to avoid it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mozgov tries to clinch
and Wallace connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mozgov takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Wallace throws a lazy right hand but Mozgov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Mozgov wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Wallace lands a shot to the body.

Wallace lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Mozgov backwards.
Mozgov tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Wallace smiles and moves away.

and Wallace counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Mozgov missing with a left hand there. Wallace was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Mozgov wants to clinch

Mozgov is breathing heavily.
Mozgov takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Mozgov takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Mozgov avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mozgov walks into a jab.

Vladimir Mozgov's cut is getting worse.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wallace throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mozgov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Oooooh!!! Wallace has knocked Mozgov down with a huge combo! Wallace steps away and waves a wobbly Mozgov back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Jeez, Vladimir Mozgov's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
