Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adalberto Hood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adalberto Hood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rob Morgan! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jonathan Paton and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hood gets caught flat footed, as Morgan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Hood could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Morgan pushing down on Hood's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Hood trying to control from the bottom.
Hood misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Hood looking for submissions off his back. Hood is trying to control but can't.
Hood wants to get back to full guard. Morgan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hood keeps working. Hood actively working from the bottom here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hood trying to hold on to Morgan's head to control him but Morgan postures up.
Well, if Morgan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hood is refusing to be controlled, as Morgan sits in half guard. Morgan wants to pass the guard but Hood is defending well. Hood is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Morgan pulls his head out easily. Morgan looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rob Morgan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Morgan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hood's guard. Morgan looks winded! Hood looking for a guillotine here but Morgan defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hood is trying to keep Morgan in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hood will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Morgan lands a couple of elbows. Hood striking off his back but it's not causing Morgan any problems. Hood has an active guard here but Morgan has managed to pass into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morgan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hood keeps working. Morgan seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Hood is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Morgan pulls his head out easily. Hood is trying to maintain the position but Morgan is very close to passing his half guard. Morgan wants to take a breather but Hood is having none of it. Morgan is thwarting Hood's attempts to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hood tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Morgan on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Morgan moves into the clinch. Hood managing to block the knees to the body from Morgan.
Hood pulls guard effortlessly. Hood has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Morgan is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hood. Hood is not content to let Morgan control the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Morgan might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hood haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rob Morgan dominated that round. That's time! Hood's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Morgan closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hood did well to prevent Morgan getting side control. Morgan is looking to take a break and control but Hood is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hood looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Hood is refusing to be controlled, as Morgan sits in half guard. Morgan is breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hood slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Morgan postures up and lands a big shot to Hood's brow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morgan wants to get up but he can't break Hood's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Hood seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Hood doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Morgan postures up in Hood's guard and throws a big left but Hood blocks it. Hood working for a triangle but Morgan defends it easily.
Hood throws his legs up looking for a submission but Morgan uses it to pass to side control.
Hood dodges the ground and pound from Morgan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hood tries to bench press Morgan off him but Morgan keeps the position. Hood trying his best to control but Morgan has mounted him. Morgan looking to control but Hood is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Morgan wants to take Hood's back but he can't do it this time. Rob Morgan has got the better of the ground game so far. Hood tries to hold on but Morgan postures up. Morgan controlling the position easily from mount. Hood tries to hold on but Morgan pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morgan prevents Hood from getting the reversal. Morgan controlling the pace for now. Hood is working to get back to half guard.
Hood tries to hold on but Morgan postures up. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Morgan. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Morgan trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hood sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Hood trying to hold on to Morgan's head to control him but Morgan postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Morgan takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Morgan is trying to control the action in half guard but Hood is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Hood trying to hold on to Morgan's head to control him but Morgan postures up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hood wants to clinch and Morgan counters with a left and a right that stings Hood. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Morgan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hood sprawls well initially but Morgan persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Hood trying to control here.
Morgan not landing any meaningful shots this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rob Morgan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Hood gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Morgan missing with knees to the body.
Morgan jumps guard and drags Hood to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Hood wants to get up but he can't break Morgan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Hood scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Hood wants to stand but Morgan has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Hood throws a big right hand that misses. Hood wants to stand but Morgan is controlling his posture from full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hood got a little sloppy there for a moment and Morgan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hood has managed to get both his arms back between Morgan's legs - danger averted. Morgan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hood stands and steps away. Morgan gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morgan rushes Hood and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Hood is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Morgan can't fight it off and eventually Hood manages to take the fight to the floor. Morgan looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Hood is working Morgan over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Hood slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Hood trying to stand up but can't free himself from Morgan's guard. Hood gets to his feet. Morgan looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice jab there from Hood. Morgan closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hood's guard. Hood wants to sweep here but Morgan controlling him for the moment. Morgan is looking to work some ground and pound but Hood has wrist control. Morgan preventing the sweep. Hood working for a triangle but Morgan defends it easily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hood is on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hood wants to stand but Morgan is controlling his posture from full guard. Morgan looking to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Morgan trying to control the position.
Hood trying to control the position from guard on top but Morgan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Morgan tries to land a sweep but no joy. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Hood trying to stand up but can't free himself from Morgan's guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Hood drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Adalberto Hood has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rob Morgan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Morgan sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Adalberto Hood showed his dominance in that final round. Well Morgan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
