Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Khalid Haji!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hafid Herodes!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haji scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Herodes throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Haji sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Herodes should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Herodes takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Herodes shoots in but Haji avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Haji throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Herodes gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Haji cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Haji uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Herodes has time to react.
Haji throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Herodes stumbling backwards into the cage! Herodes bounces back off the cage towards Haji, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Haji lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Haji celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Khalid Haji!
