The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalski has a takedown stuffed.
Kowalski dives in for a single leg takedown but Walker sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Walker scores with a head kick.
Walker throws a sloppy head kick and Kowalski moves out of range easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kowalski gets a double leg takedown into Walker's guard.
Kowalski trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kowalski passes Walker's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Walker is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Kowalski has latched onto it... Big trouble! Kowalski pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Walker is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Kowalski!
