The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kano fails to land with a series of punches.
Kano swats away the attempt to clinch by Roberts.
Kano throws a combination. Roberts tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Kano lands a nice hook to Roberts's body. Roberts takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Roberts is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kano lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Roberts sprawling to the canvas. Kano follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Roberts hang on?

Kano is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Roberts is hurt! He's hurt bad - Kano fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Roberts from any more punishment! Congratulations to Kano! Great finish!
