Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hu Kokov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gene Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Anderson dives in for a single leg takedown but Kokov sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Anderson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kokov swivels and escapes.
Hu Kokov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kokov paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Anderson darts in and clinches Kokov up against the cage.
Kokov prevents Anderson from breaking the clinch.
Kokov scores with a shot to the side of Anderson's head.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Kokov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kokov throws a one two combo.
Kokov stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
It looks like Gene Anderson has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Anderson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kokov defends well and Anderson ends up having to push Kokov into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Hu Kokov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gene Anderson.
Kokov scores with the left hand. Anderson knows he should have avoided that one.
Kokov has taken the fight to the clinch.
Anderson wants to take the fight to the mat but Kokov manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Kokov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kokov digs a good body shot into Anderson's ribs.
Anderson closes the distance and clinches.

Anderson misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kokov lands a right hand that snaps the head of Anderson backwards.
Kokov lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Kokov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Anderson gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kokov.
Anderson just misses with a punch to the body.
Anderson misses with a takedown
and Kokov moves into the clinch.
Kokov is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Anderson trying to control the position but instead, Kokov has worked for underhooks and has pushed Anderson into the cage.
Kokov gets through Anderson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Kokov breaks the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kokov fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Anderson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A jab from Kokov does it's job there.
Nice sprawl there from Kokov as Anderson shoots in.
An attempted straight right counter from Kokov misses the target.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Left hook, right uppercut from Kokov.
Kokov stalks Anderson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Anderson's face. Anderson staggers backwards, shaken.
Kokov cracks Anderson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Anderson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kokov finish him?
Anderson is rocked!
Kokov throws a combination. Anderson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Anderson is still on wobbly legs! Can Kokov finish him?
Kokov lands a big head kick that sends Anderson tumbling to the mat! Kokov takes a step backwards and waves Anderson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
That has opened up Gene Anderson's cut even more.
Anderson instigates a clinch.
Anderson seems to have recovered his senses.
Anderson looking to stall.
Kokov makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Come on Kokov - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Kokov lands a left hand that snaps the head of Anderson backwards.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kokov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Anderson.
Kokov rushes Anderson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Anderson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Kokov breaks the clinch.
Kokov lands with a shot to the body.
Anderson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kokov tries to avoid it but Anderson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kokov to the ground. Kokov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Anderson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Anderson there as he acknowledges the shot.
Kokov scores with a head kick.
Kokov goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
A leg kick checked by Kokov.
Anderson clinches with his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Anderson is looking to break free of the clinch but Kokov has double underhooks.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kokov lands with a right to the head.
Kokov prevents a takedown attempt there.
Kokov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kokov lands a body shot.
Anderson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kokov. Kokov obviously looking to wear him down.
Anderson swings away with a body shot that misses
enabling Kokov to counter with a crisp jab.
Anderson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kokov counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The cut above Gene Anderson's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Anderson looks winded!
Kokov listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Anderson is aggressively charging in as Kokov backs up avoiding any damage. Kokov tosses out a jab and Anderson runs right into it face first! Anderson is out cold! Kokov dropped down on all fours and is barking in Anderson's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hu Kokov!
Hu Kokov seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
