Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Alvado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and White Goodman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alvado comes into the arena with Redbone - Come and Get Your Love blaring out of the sound system. Pablo Alvado has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvado shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Alvado was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Goodman is looking to regain half guard here but Alvado keeps moving and retains side control.

Goodman connects with a solid leg kick.
Goodman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Alvado's waist but Alvado gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Goodman off to one side.
Alvado is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Goodman can do to turn this around?

and Alvado counters with a three punch combo that has Goodman backing up. Goodman nods at Alvado to acknowledge the strikes.

Goodman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Alvado sprawls well. Alvado wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Goodman gets slowly back to his feet.

Alvado stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Goodman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Alvado defends well and Goodman ends up having to push Alvado into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Goodman enables Alvado to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Goodman manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Alvado cracks Goodman with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Alvado closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Alvado lands in his opponent's guard.
Alvado is pushing down on Goodman's leg trying to pass to half guard. Goodman is fighting to maintain full guard but Alvado has managed to sneak the leg through.

Well Alvado has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
