Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Che Hoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Watt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Watt is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Edmund Fitzgerald. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Che Hoe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Scott Watt! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoe closes the distance and clinches. Hoe is defending well against a takedown attempt. Hoe prevents Watt from breaking the clinch. Hoe blocks an elbow strike. I was talking to Hoe's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Watt slowing the pace effectively. Hoe avoiding damage as Watt throws knees to the body.
Watt wants to stall.
Watt goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Hoe works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Watt trying to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hoe showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Hoe has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Watt pulls Hoe in close to prevent any damage. Hoe controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Watt is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Hoe closes the distance and clinches. Watt has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hoe is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Watt is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Hoe to keep the fight standing. Che Hoe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scott Watt. Hoe decides to pull guard. Watt stops Hoe from standing up. Watt loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hoe managing to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Watt throws a sloppy strike and Hoe has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Watt is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Hoe!
