Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gio Avila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dr Dre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gio Avila!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dr Dre!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avila fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Dre shoots in but Avila avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Dre shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Avila as he avoids it easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dre.
Gio Avila has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dr Dre.

Avila feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Dre shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Avila napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Dre working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Dre has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Avila is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Dre yanks on the arm and Avila is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Dre.

Dr Dre bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
