Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Crusher Breaker!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Future fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Breaker.
Breaker looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Breaker has a takedown stuffed.
A solid leg kick lands there for Future.

Future drives through and clinches with Breaker against the cage.
Breaker jumps guard but Future stands there with Breaker around his waist. Breaker gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Breaker is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Future pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Josh Future has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Crusher Breaker.

Future pulls guard effortlessly.
Future trying to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Future is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
My spies in Cozad The Island inform me that Breaker has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Future has Breaker pushed against the cage.

Future breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Future looks for a takedown but Breaker sprawls well.
Future misses with a takedown attempt - Breaker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Breaker shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Future darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Breaker is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Future pulls his head out easily.

Future wants to stand but Breaker has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Future looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Future throwing shots but Breaker is blocking nicely.
Breaker wants to get back to full guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Breaker throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Future is looking to take a break and control but Breaker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Future looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Breaker gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Future counters with a stiff right hand.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Future looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Breaker doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Josh Future dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Future looking to hit a scissor sweep but Breaker is one step ahead there.
Breaker in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Breaker landing with the ground and pound.
Future looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Future knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Breaker on the ground.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Breaker won't allow Future to get back to his feet.
Future looking for a sweep. Not yet Future, not yet.
Future seems keen to control Breaker's posture.

Future wants to control the position but Breaker says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Future wants to get back to full guard.

Breaker in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Future tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Breaker!
