Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Karl Kennison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rogerio Cabral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kennison comes to the cage accompanied by Snot- Stoopid. Karl Kennison is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennison rushes Cabral and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kennison lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Cabral changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kennison fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Kennison bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Cabral throws a body shot but no joy.
Cabral takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Kennison connects with a looping right hand.
Kennison throws a hook but Cabral blocks it.
Kennison feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Cabrals jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Kennison turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kennison stuns Cabral with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kennison seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
We've been hearing good reports from Kennison's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Kennison is trying to control the action in half guard but Cabral is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Cabral is looking for a sweep. Kennison is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kennison swings wildly with an uppercut but Cabral uses good head movement to avoid it.
Cabral turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Cabral sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kennison is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Karl Kennison dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Cabral on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Cabral stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kennison.
Kennison rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cabral moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cabral changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Cabral lands a slapping body shot.
Cabral scores with a shot to the body.
Kennison tries to clinch but Cabral moves out of range.
Cabral misses with a head kick.
A little feinted left hand from Kennison on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Kennison here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Kennison fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Cabral misses with a looping right.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cabral. Kennison does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cabral connects with a right hand. Kennison shakes it off.
Cabral throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Kennison cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A left lands for Cabral.
Kennison is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Cabral can do to turn this around?

Kennison tries to clinch there but Cabral circles away.
Cabral throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kennison sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Kennison tries to bum rush Cabral with a series of wild strikes but Cabral uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Cabral closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
