Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Casimiro Ambrogi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gustaf Stenbeck!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stenbeck connects with a single shot there.
Stenbeck lands a nice looking body shot.

Ambrogi looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Ambrogi working the head and body with strikes.
Ambrogi takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ambrogi thows a huge punch but Stenbeck dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ambrogi wants to free his trapped foot but Stenbeck is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Ambrogi is nestled in close to Stenbeck, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Stenbeck tries to get to full guard but Ambrogi has control of the leg.

Ambrogi not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Ambrogi prevents Stenbeck from improving his position.

Ambrogi is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ambrogi lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Ambrogi wants to work for an arm triangle but Stenbeck is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Ambrogi lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Ambrogi is nestled in close to Stenbeck, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Ambrogi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Stenbeck tries to roll over but Ambrogi keeps him under control.

Ambrogi stands up and beckons Stenbeck to join him on the feet.
Ambrogi walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Stenbeck works the jab nicely.


It looks like Casimiro Ambrogi has been cut.
Stenbeck throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ambrogi tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Stenbeck defends well and Ambrogi ends up having to push Stenbeck into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Stenbeck lands a nice looking body shot.
Stenbeck bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ambrogi's head.
Stenbeck stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stenbeck wants it to stay on the feet.

Stenbeck misses with a jab, cross combination.

Stenbeck has taken the fight to the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Stenbeck.
Stenbeck softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ambrogi is working for takedown but Stenbeck is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Casimiro Ambrogi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stenbeck scores with a shot to the side of Ambrogi's head.
Stenbeck gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ambrogi.
Stenbeck wants to stall.
Ambrogi tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Stenbeck smiles and moves away.
Stenbeck keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Gustaf Stenbeck will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Casimiro Ambrogi's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Good exchange - Stenbeck coming out on top.
Ambrogi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stenbeck defends it nicely.
Stenbeck scores with a nice right hand.
Stenbeck listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stenbeck connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Stenbeck has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Stenbeck moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Gustaf Stenbeck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ambrogi gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.


Ambrogi is rocked!

Stenbeck connects with a combination that backs up Ambrogi into the cage. Stenbeck lands a flurry of punches that gets past Ambrogi's guard. Ambrogi is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Stenbeck bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gustaf Stenbeck!
