Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Preston Barksdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Preston Barksdale is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Bravo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Preston Barksdale! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Lou da Vinci and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barksdale drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Barksdale stands up and we're back to a striking position. Bravo lands with a nice combination. Barksdale backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Preston Barksdale has been cut. Bravo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bravo looks to land a body kick but Barksdale moved away. The fight stays on the outside here - Barksdale looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Barksdale shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bravo's guard. Barksdale looking to pass the guard. Bravo keeping moving, preventing Barksdale from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barksdale wants to get up but he can't break Bravo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Barksdale trying to control but Bravo is working from the bottom. Barksdale pushes down on Bravo's leg and manages to get into half guard. Barksdale looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Bravo is trying to stand back up but Barksdale is controlling him
Bravo is breathing heavily. Barksdale stands up and beckons Bravo to join him on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Barksdale shoots in and bounces Bravo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Barksdale sitting in guard, not really doing much. Barksdale cracks Bravo with a solid left hand. Bravo working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Barksdale. Barksdale not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barksdale wants to control from the top but Bravo keeps moving. Barksdale trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Barksdale is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Barksdale controlling from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Barksdale trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Barksdale controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Barksdale stands up from guard. Let's bang! Barksdale closes the distance and clinches. Bravo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bravo being controlled against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Preston Barksdale dominated that round. The cut man is working on Preston Barksdale's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Barksdale has closed the distance and engaged Bravo in a clinch.
Bravo tries to break the clinch but Barksdale is controlling the position. Barksdale tries to score a body lock takedown but Bravo shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Barksdale jumps guard and drags Bravo to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Barksdale is pulling down on Bravo's head. It's preventing any offense from Bravo, at least for the moment. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Barksdale is on top in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bravo keeping moving, preventing Barksdale from controlling successfully. Bravo wants to sweep here but Barksdale controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barksdale stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bravo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Barksdale throwing strikes from guard but Bravo blocks nicely. Barksdale is stalling in the full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Barksdale tries to clinch there but Bravo circles away.
Nice straight punches there by Barksdale. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Barksdale. Bravo stuffs the takedown attempt from Barksdale. Barksdale gets slowly back to his feet. Barksdale tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Preston Barksdale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barksdale avoids the head kick by Bravo.
Bravo has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Johnny Bravo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Barksdale. Johnny Bravo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Preston Barksdale. Barksdale bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Bravo gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Bravo tries to buck Barksdale off but he can't manage it. Barksdale controlling his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bravo tries to lock up and control but Barksdale gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Bravo is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Barksdale locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Bravo is forced to tap!
