Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Miles Monroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Miles Monroe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dave Johnson! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Monroe throws a low kick but it's checked well by Johnson. Johnson's corner calls for a 1-2. Johnson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Johnson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Monroe at a distance.

It looks like Miles Monroe has been cut. Monroe looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Monroe misses with a looping left. Johnson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Monroe on his heels. He'll look to pass Monroe's guard now, I'm sure. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Monroe looking to control.
Johnson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Johnson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Johnson throwing strikes but missing. Johnson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Johnson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Monroe works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Johnson is looking to work some ground and pound but Monroe has wrist control. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson is in close to Monroe's body, working some short punches and elbows. Johnson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Monroe takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Monroe is rocked! Monroe is aggressively charging in as Johnson backs up avoiding any damage. Johnson tosses out a jab and Monroe runs right into it face first! Monroe is out cold! Johnson dropped down on all fours and is barking in Monroe's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dave Johnson! A very excited looking Dave Johnson rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
