Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ole Bighead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casey Bowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bowman comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Amish Paradise kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bighead is looking to chop away at Bowman's legs.
Bowman bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bowman tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Bowman with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bighead to score with a decent uppercut.
Bighead misses with a leg kick.
Good leg kick by Bighead there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Bighead looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bighead takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Bowman gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bighead.
Bowman throws a head kick that misses.
Bighead throws a front kick aimed at Bowman's knee but Bowman avoids it well.
Bighead walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Bowman just misses with a punch to the body.

Bowman throws a right and a left that Bighead avoids nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've been informed that Bowman has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Bighead takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bowman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bighead manages to avoid it.
Bighead throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Bighead lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Bighead takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Bowman looks to score with a jab to the body but Bighead is just out of range.

Bighead wants to land a leg kick but Bowman is out of range.

Bighead wants to slow Bowman down by chopping away at his legs.
Bighead has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Bowman counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Bighead is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Bighead takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Bighead bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Bowman ducks under a wild hook from Bighead.
Nice takedown defense from Bighead. No joy for Bowman on that attempt.
Bighead blocks a head kick by Bowman.
Bowman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bighead swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bowman is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bighead had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Bowman goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bowman. Bighead does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bowman takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bighead throws a shot from downtown. Bowman moves away and avoids it.
Nice uppercut lands for Bowman. That snapped Bighead's head back.
Bighead attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Bowman swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Bighead tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bowman is able to avoid easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Casey Bowman dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bighead throws a leg kick which misses Bowman's front leg but catches the back leg as Bowman tries to avoid it.

Bowman scores with the left hand. Bighead knows he should have avoided that one.
Bighead has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bowman finds it's way round the side to connect with Bighead's head.
Bowman has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Bowman moves out of range of the strikes.
Bowman connects with a leg kick. Bighead looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Bowman scores with a jab to the head.
Bighead is rocked!
Bowman cracks Bighead with a left hook right on the temple and Bighead goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Bowman lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Bighead is OK!

A less than humble Casey Bowman misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
