Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rony Moraes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kim Il Sung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rony Moraes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Rony Moraes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kim Il Sung! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, William Gold and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Il Sung jabs Moraes to the body, keeping him at a distance. Moraes throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Il Sung appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Moraes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Il Sung.
Il Sung connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Il Sung moves into the clinch. Moraes tries to score a body lock takedown but Il Sung shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Il Sung scores with a shot to the side of Moraes's head. I was talking to Moraes's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Il Sung misses with some punches.
Il Sung scores with a nice hook to the head. Il Sung lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Il Sung lands a left hand.
Il Sung can't find room to land a body shot as Moraes controls the action.
Il Sung throws a head punch that misses. Moraes has hold of one of Il Sung's legs. Il Sung is fighting the takedown attempt but Moraes gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Moraes trying to control the position from guard on top but Il Sung is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moraes wants to pass the guard but Il Sung is keeping the position. Moraes throws a strike but Il Sung rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Il Sung's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Il Sung slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Il Sung is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Il Sung trying to control the position from guard on top but Moraes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moraes is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Il Sung is aware though and is defending well. Il Sung trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Il Sung is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Il Sung is continuing to stall. Il Sung works over Moraes with some ground and pound from guard. Il Sung postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Moraes looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Il Sung has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Moraes working a defensive guard but Il Sung manages to pass into side control anyway.
Il Sung works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. You can see the frustration on Moraes's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Il Sung working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Il Sung lands some shots froms side control. Il Sung scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Moraes to see if he's OK. Moraes takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Il Sung working the head with strikes. Il Sung cracks Moraes with a big elbow. Il Sung creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Moraes tries to get back to half guard but can't. Il Sung has control of an arm but Moraes manages to advance to Il Sung's back! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Il Sung rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Moraes is pressing down on Il Sung's thigh, looking to free his foot. Il Sung is holding on for now. Il Sung desperately trying to maintain half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kim Il Sung dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Il Sung connects with a good right hand that stumbles Moraes. Moraes circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Il Sung looks to score with a jab to the body but Moraes is just out of range. Il Sung fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Moraes. Il Sung looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Il Sung throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Il Sung lands with a right hand. Il Sung lands with an overhand left. Il Sung scores with a punch to the head. Moraes keeps the fight on the outside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Il Sung looks to land a right hand but Moraes moved out of range. Moraes keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Il Sung. Moraes misses with a looping right. And Il Sung tries to counter it with a takedown but Moraes pushes his down on his head and steps out. Moraes misses with a wild body shot. Il Sung takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Il Sung has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Il Sung fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Moraes manages to avoid it. Moraes drops down looking for a counter takedown but Il Sung sprawls and moves away. Kim Il Sung is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Moraes pivots, looking for a leg kick but Il Sung is out of range and Moraes settles back down. Rony Moraes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Moraes tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. A looping hook to the body misses from Il Sung. Moraes does a little dance to reset his feet. Moraes keeps the fight on the outside. Moraes tries to counter with a takedown but Il Sung is quick to defend against it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Moraes had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Il Sung defends it easily. Il Sung trying to control but Moraes is working from the bottom. Il Sung drops back looking for a leg! Moraes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Moraes manages to kick Il Sung off! Il Sung jumps back into Moraes's guard. That's three minutes gone in the round. Il Sung connects with a couple of short punches. Moraes wants to sweep here but Il Sung controlling him for the moment. Moraes trying to keep a closed guard but Il Sung is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Il Sung pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Moraes is keeping the position for now. Moraes keeping moving, preventing Il Sung from controlling successfully. Moraes working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Il Sung has passed into half guard!
Moraes is looking to get back to full guard here but Il Sung has managed to pass to side control instead. Il Sung wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Moraes, who protects the arm well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Moraes tries to get back to half guard but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kim Il Sung showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Il Sung is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Il Sung takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Il Sung lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Il Sung in particular looking to stall. Moraes with the active half guard here but Il Sung passes nicely into side control. Moraes tries to buck Il Sung off but Il Sung is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Il Sung has hold of Moraes's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Moraes seems comfortable defending it but Il Sung has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Moraes is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Moraes is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Il Sung couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Kim Il Sung! In his post fight interview, Kim Il Sung gave a big smile as he said 'Eat my feces you filthy capitalist pig!'.
