Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julius Kaiser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Hay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Julius Kaiser! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Hay! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Alyssa Summers and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hay doesn't manage to clinch there - Kaiser circles away.
Joe Hay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kaiser looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Kaiser slips a jab and a cross from Hay.
Kaiser misses with a kick to the body.

Hay looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kaiser throws a series of punches but Hay avoids them all with ease. Kaiser pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kaiser plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Kaiser throws a wild body kick that Hay sees coming a mile off. A head kick misses from Kaiser. Kaiser looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Hay closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hay lands in his opponent's guard. Hay stops Kaiser from standing up. Kaiser could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Hay throwing strikes from guard but Kaiser blocks nicely. Hay won't allow Kaiser to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hay postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Hay throws a big right hand that misses. Kaiser working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hay. Hay wants to control from the top but Kaiser keeps moving. Hay throwing strikes but missing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hay looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kaiser tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hay rushes Kaiser and presses him up against the cage. Hay lands a left hand.
Kaiser is trying to break free. Kaiser breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hay shoots in but Kaiser avoids the takedown attempt easily. Hay looks gassed! Kaiser circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hay shoots in but no luck this time. Julius Kaiser has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Hay. A solid body kick from Kaiser. Hay takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Kaiser throws a head kick but Hay moves out of range.

Kaiser has had enough of the clinch but Hay keeps him there for the moment. Hay tries to pull guard but Kaiser holds him up against the cage and eventually Hay drops back down to his feet.

Hay swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Hay keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kaiser.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hay tries to clinch up. Hay avoids the head kick by Kaiser.
Julius Kaiser is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hay looks for a takedown but Kaiser sprawls well. A head kick from Kaiser lands but Hay takes it in his stride. Hay shoots in and drives through. Kaiser sprawls well. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Kaiser buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hay moves away from the strike by Kaiser. Kaiser throws a head kick that misses. Hay shoots in but Kaiser avoids the takedown attempt easily. Hay avoids the head kick by Kaiser.
Kaiser goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Kaiser walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hay avoids the body shot from Kaiser.
Kaiser feints and then cracks Hay's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hay down. Hay doesn't manage to clinch there - Kaiser circles away.
Kaiser throws a leg kick which misses Hay's front leg but catches the back leg as Hay tries to avoid it. Kaiser dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hay. That did some damage! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Julius Kaiser dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Hay looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kaiser is fending him off so far but Hay persists. Nope, Kaiser circles away and we're back to standing. Hay drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kaiser regains half guard. Hay sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kaiser defending well though. Kaiser slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Hay with a flurry of punches that miss. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kaiser utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Kaiser avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kaiser has his feet on Hay's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hay steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kaiser. That one must have hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaiser throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Hay fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hay fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kaiser pushes Hay away with a front kick. Kaiser swats away the attempt to clinch by Hay. Kaiser throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hay tries to bum rush Kaiser with a series of wild strikes but Kaiser uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kaiser scores with a kick to the midsection. Kaiser throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Kaiser walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hay checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Kaiser connects with a high kick. Kaiser throws a quick inside leg kick. Hay has a takedown stuffed. Hay misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kaiser scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Kaiser keeps the fight on the outside. Kaiser throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

He's got his arms around Kaiser's waist but Kaiser gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hay off to one side. Julius Kaiser has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Hay. Kaiser throws a push kick but Hay slaps the foot to one side.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hay crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kaiser - the referee stops the clock and Hay gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kaiser. Hay manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. No joy there for Hay, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hay lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hay connects with a nice short shot to Kaiser's temple.

Kaiser works his way to full guard. Good work. Kaiser is controlling Hay's posture. Kaiser is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hay is controlling him. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kaiser keeping full guard, as Hay tries to pass. Kaiser preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hay throws a big right hand that misses.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Hay takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A head kick misses from Kaiser. Kaiser tries a head kick but it misses.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kaiser swats away the attempt to clinch by Hay. Kaiser gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Kaiser uses the cage to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Julius Kaiser. I think Kaiser has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
