Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniello Pablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniello Pablo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kevin Hall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Daniello Pablo! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Sergei Dronov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pablo is defended easily by Hall. Hall lands a jab to Pablo's midsection. Hall throws a shot to the body.
Pablo tries for a takedown but Hall sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A looping hook to the body misses from Hall. Pablo does a little dance to reset his feet. Pablo takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
It looks like Daniello Pablo has been cut. Pablo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kevin Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniello Pablo. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hall lands with a hook. Pablo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. A nice inside leg kick there by Hall. That's going to slow Pablo down. Hall gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Pablo to score an easy takedown into full guard. Pablo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hall pulls Pablo in to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pablo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hall manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pablo manages to get himself to full guard.
Hall wants to control from the top but Pablo keeps moving. Pablo throws his legs up looking for a submission but Hall uses it to pass to side control.
Hall is staying tight to Pablo's torso, preventing him from escaping. Hall will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Pablo takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall landing strikes. Pablo tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hall cracks Pablo with an elbow. That is naaassty. Hall working away. Hall advances to full mount. Hall lands a couple of good shots and Pablo has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Pablo manages to reverse the position and now he's in Hall's guard. Nice work there by Pablo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hall manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pablo manages to get himself to full guard.
Hall postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pablo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hall gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Hall has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Pablo throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Hall working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Pablo's head. Hall working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Hall controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Hall got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pablo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hall has managed to get both his arms back between Pablo's legs - danger averted.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hall's corner is telling him to maintain position. Pablo is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Hall has his hands clasped together but Pablo extends and breaks Hall's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Pablo.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Daniello Pablo! Our winner, Daniello Pablo, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
