Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wojtek Jel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jodey Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, Wojtek Jel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jodey Perry !
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Russell Pearce and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Perry scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Jel wants to sweep but Perry has passed to side control!

Perry thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Perry is trying to get an arm triangle but Jel is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jel struggling a bit here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Perry taking a breather here.
Jel is looking to regain half guard here but Perry keeps moving and retains side control.
Jel on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Perry decides to stand back up. Perry steps back and let's Jel get back to his feet.
Jel works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Jel shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Perry pinned against the cage. Perry gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Jel stuffs the takedown attempt from Perry . Perry gets slowly back to his feet.
Jel misses with a jab, cross combination.

Perry dives in and scores a takedown into Jel's guard.
Jel on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jel tries to get out of the position.
Perry being controlled here momentarily.
Perry wants to control from the top but Jel keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jel wants to get back to his feet but Perry is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Jel is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Perry dives into side control.
Jel tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Perry working away.
Perry is looking to take a break and control but Jel is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Perry is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jel knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
You can see the frustration on Jel's face as Perry controls the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jodey Perry dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Jel lands with a nice combination. Perry backs away looking to recover.
Perry takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.


Perry is rocked!
Jel cracks Perry 's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Perry slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Jel can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Wojtek Jel!
After the fight, Wojtek Jel was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
