The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magnus with a lazy takedown attempt
and Cabral counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Magnus tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cabral paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Magnus swinging wildly here.
Cabral tried to counter with a leg kick but Magnus avoided it.
Magnus fails with the takedown
and Cabral counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Magnus takes the fight into the clinch.
Magnus tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Rodrigo Cabral has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ed Magnus.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Magnus is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Cabral pulls him back up using the underhooks.

A quick step to the side and Cabral tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Ed Magnus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cabral defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Magnus.
A quick step to the side and Cabral tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Cabral counters with a head kick that drops Magnus to the mat! Magnus scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Cabral is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

and Cabral counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Magnus falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
