The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emerson gets the takedown into side control.
Jones is not content to let Emerson control the position.
Emerson working the ground and pound from side control.
Jones is looking for a sweep.
Emerson advances nicely into full mount.
Emerson working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Jones tries to buck Emerson off but he can't manage it.
Emerson has control of Jones's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jones regains control of the situation pretty easily.
BOOM! Emerson connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Emerson trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Jones has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Jones tries to roll but Emerson sticks to his back.

You can see the frustration on Jones's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

I would not like to be Jones right now.
Emerson working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Jones is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Emerson has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Jones taps out!
