Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sokka Takano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bitor Velfort!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velfort misses with a right hand
and Takano counters with a nice uppercut.
Velfort misses with a low kick.
As Velfort tries to get set, Takano tries to push him back and clinch up but Velfort manages to avoid the attempt.
Takano throws a sloppy head kick and Velfort moves out of range easily.
Velfort wants to clinch up but Takano keeps it at a distance.
We've been told by Takano's head coaches at Montreal Elite Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Velfort's jab looks to have found its range, popping Takano under the eye.
Takano takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Takano throws a right and a left that Velfort avoids nicely.
Takano moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Takano feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Velfort sprawling to the canvas! Velfort rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Takano finish him?!
Velfort is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Velfort tries to clinch
and Takano counters with a big left hand that crumples Velfort! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
