Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fidel Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Papa Shango (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Castro's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Jay Z - Open Letter. Papa Shango is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shango throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Castro was covering up waiting for the punch and Shango finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Shango wants to pass the guard but Castro is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shango passes Castro's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Shango is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Castro sees it coming and defends easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Shango is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Castro has managed to free his arm - good work.
Castro is trying to get back to full guard.

Still in half guard, Shango seems content to control.
Shango prevents Castro from standing back up.
Well, if Shango is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Shango is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Castro is just riding it out for now. Shango eventually gives up the hold.

Castro really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Shango in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Castro tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Shango!

After winning the bout, Papa Shango thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
The defeated Fidel Castro had this to say: 'The Revolucion will still continue. We shall not stop!'.
