Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michael Langhi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Thibault Michel!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michel tries to clinch but Langhi moves out of range.
Langhi avoids the head kick by Michel.
Langhi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Michel tries to clinch but Langhi moves away
and Langhi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Thibault Michel has been cut.
Michel shoots in and drives through. Langhi sprawls well.
Langhi is looking to counter punch.
Michel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Langhi moves away.
Langhi blocks a head kick by Michel.
Langhi is looking to counter punch.
Langhi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Langhi misses with a looping left.
Michel lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Michel is looking to clinch but Langhi is avoiding it.
Langhi throwing a counter right hand but Michel manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big left from Michel misses.
Langhi is looking to counter punch.
Michel is looking to land body kicks.
Langhi lands a right hook to the body.
Michel instigates a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A frustrated look appears on Michel's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Michel throws a punch but it's blocked by Langhi.
Michel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Langhi moves out of range as Michel throws a body kick.
Langhi misses with a hook.
Michel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Langhi as he jumps to the side.
Langhi swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Michel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Langhi's waist but Langhi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Michel off to one side.

Michael Langhi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thibault Michel.
Michel misses with a takedown attempt - Langhi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Michel looks winded!
Langhi avoids a kick to the body.
Langhi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Michel was well out of range. Poor timing from Langhi.
Michel takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Michel tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Langhi defends well and Michel ends up having to push Langhi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Michel throws a head kick that misses
enabling Langhi to counter with a crisp jab.
Michel avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Michel goes for a double leg but Langhi avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Langhi continues to drive forward.
Michel looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Langhi is fending him off so far but Michel persists. Nope, Langhi circles away and we're back to standing.
Michel darts in trying to clinch
and Langhi counters with a right hand to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Michel avoids the body shot from Langhi.
Michel misses with a two punch combination.
It looked like Langhi was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Michel.
Langhi jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Langhi drops Michel with a straight right hand, right on the button! Langhi follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Langhi!
After the fight, Michael Langhi was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
