Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ike Dyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rene Schwarzmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ike Dyer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rene Schwarzmann! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schwarzmann changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dyer tries to avoid it but Schwarzmann manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dyer to the ground. Dyer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Schwarzmann leaves Dyer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Schwarzmann let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Schwarzmann gets in close and instigates a clinch. Dyer tries for a takedown but Schwarzmann manages to get underhooks.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ike Dyer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dyer breaks the clinch.
Schwarzmann fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dyer, pushing him back against the cage. Schwarzmann breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schwarzmann avoids a punch combination nicely.
Schwarzmann fails in his attempt to clinch. An attempted straight right counter from Dyer misses the target. Dyer blocks a head kick by Schwarzmann.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schwarzmann bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dyer's head backwards.
It looks like Ike Dyer has been cut. Dyer swats away the attempt to clinch by Schwarzmann. Schwarzmann takes the fight into the clinch. Schwarzmann successfully pulls guard.
Dyer loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Schwarzmann is controlling Dyer's posture. Schwarzmann has his foot on Dyer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dyer works his way back into a safe position though. Dyer throws a big right hand that misses. Dyer trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Dyer stops Schwarzmann from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schwarzmann is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schwarzmann seems keen to control Dyer's posture. Schwarzmann throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Schwarzmann preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Dyer throws a big right hand that misses. Dyer with a flurry of punches that miss. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Schwarzmann is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Dyer misses with the combination.

Schwarzmann shoots in for a takedown but Dyer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Schwarzmann tries to bum rush Dyer with a series of wild strikes but Dyer uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Dyer seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Dyer slaps away a takedown attempt from Schwarzmann, before circling back to the center of the mat. Schwarzmann wants to slow Dyer down by chopping away at his legs. Dyer is looking to counter punch. Schwarzmann misses with a two punch combination.

Schwarzmann rushes Dyer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Dyer is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Schwarzmann pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schwarzmann breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A punch combination from Schwarzmann misses. Rene Schwarzmann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schwarzmann has managed to clinch.
Dyer tries to pull guard but Schwarzmann forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Dyer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Schwarzmann closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dyer wants to get back to full guard. Schwarzmann is controlling the pace.
Schwarzmann is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rene Schwarzmann dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ike Dyer's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Schwarzmann forces Dyer back against the cage and clinches. Dyer tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Schwarzmann smiles and moves away.
Schwarzmann lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dyer's sensitive parts. Dyer wants to clinch up but Schwarzmann keeps it at a distance. Dyer gets cracked there but stands up to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dyer tries to close the distance and clinch but Schwarzmann swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ike Dyer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Schwarzmann shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dyer sprawls well. Dyer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Schwarzmann gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schwarzmann tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. As Schwarzmann looks to move away, Dyer throws a big counter combo bu Schwarzmann just gets out of the way. A momentary lapse in concentration from Dyer enables Schwarzmann to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dyer manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Schwarzmann being controlled here momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schwarzmann tries to free his leg and advance position but Dyer is retaining full guard. Schwarzmann pushing down on Dyer's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Schwarzmann is thwarting Dyer's attempts to control the position. Schwarzmann is controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schwarzmann seems to be looking for submissions.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Still in half guard, Schwarzmann seems content to control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Schwarzmann scores with a one two! Dyer had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Schwarzmann buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Dyer could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Schwarzmann shoots in looking for a takedown. Dyer tries to sprawl out of it but Schwarzmann keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dyer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Dyer changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Dyer moves forwards but Schwarzmann connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Dyer is rocked! Schwarzmann lands with a right and another and another! Dyer is in big trouble! Schwarzmann lands again and this time it's lights out for Dyer! A quality knockout there for Schwarzmann.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rene Schwarzmann! Our winner, Rene Schwarzmann, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
