The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rowland on his heels. He'll look to pass Rowland's guard now, I'm sure.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Felipe Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rowland tries to clinch up but Silva circles away and keeps his distance.
Silva lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Frances Rowland has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Felipe Silva is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Silva changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rowland looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
