Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dean Whinchester!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Tincher!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tincher gets a clinch.
Tincher breaks from the clinch.
Tincher misses with a head kick.
Tincher lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Tincher throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Left hook, right uppercut from Tincher.
Whinchester throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Tincher counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Tincher.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tincher drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Whinchester dives on top into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Whinchester trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tincher wriggles free and stands up.
Tincher shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Whinchester as he jumps to the side.
Some wild striking there from Whinchester.
Tincher wants to clinch up but Whinchester keeps it at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tincher throws a series of punches but Whinchester avoids them all with ease.
Tincher tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Whinchester swivels and escapes.
Tincher looks gassed!
Whinchester circles away from the clinch attempt.
Whinchester works Tincher's body with a nice hook.
Whinchester fails with a takedown attempt.

and Tincher decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Whinchester's guard.
Tincher in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Tincher has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Whinchester to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Tincher is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Whinchester pulls down on the head and he's put Tincher to sleep! This one is all over!
