Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ted Zanik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasily Demchenkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Zanik might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Walk this way. Ted Zanik has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demchenkov drives through and clinches with Zanik against the ropes.
Zanik misses with the head strike.
Demchenkov drops down looking for an ankle pick but Zanik pulls his leg out and moves away.
Demchenkov stuffs the takedown attempt from Zanik. Zanik gets slowly back to his feet.

Zanik throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Demchenkov escapes and throws Zanik's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Zanik parries the strikes from Demchenkov easily there. Demchenkov is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Zanik to escape.
Zanik is trying to control Demchenkov's posture but Demchenkov avoids it.
Zanik really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Demchenkov cracks Zanik with a big right hand but Zanik just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Demchenkov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zanik. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Zanik has his feet on Demchenkov's thighs here. He's pushed Demchenkov off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Demchenkov screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
