Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Judo Jim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Judo Jim has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Judo Jim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jay Walker! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Winston Alpacca and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jim misses with a takedown and Walker holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Jim wants to stall.
Walker tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jim's elbow. Jim is trying to break the clinch but Walker has him pressed against the cage. Jim tries to pull guard but Walker forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Walker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jim shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Walker defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Judo Jim. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jim shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Walker as he avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. A nice inside leg kick there by Walker. That's going to slow Jim down. Jim looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Walker is fending him off so far but Jim persists. Nope, Walker circles away and we're back to standing. Jim tries to close the distance and clinch but Walker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jim shoots in but Walker avoids the takedown attempt easily. Nice sprawl there from Walker as Jim shoots in. Judo Jim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jim gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Walker counters with a head kick. Jim shoots in looking for a takedown but Walker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jim's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Jim dives in and grabs Walker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Walker pushes down on Jim's head and hops out. Walker tries to counter by closing the distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Danga de danga de dang - Walker scores with a four punch combination! Jim throws a poor cross that misses
and Walker counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Walker. Walker gets underhooks to prevent Jim's takedown attempt.
Walker lands a right hand. Walker trying to land knees to the body.
Walker tries to land knees in the clinch but Jim avoids the damage to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jim tries to pull guard but Walker holds him up against the cage and eventually Jim drops back down to his feet.
A frustrated look appears on Jim's face as he tries to break the clinch. Walker has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jim uses from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker keeping moving, preventing Jim from controlling successfully. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Walker holds on and takes a little breather. Walker throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Jim wants to get up but he can't break Walker's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Walker keeping full guard, as Jim tries to pass. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Walker controlling the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Walker swats away the attempt to clinch by Jim. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Walker closes the distance and clinches. Walker jumps guard and drags Jim to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Walker dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Jim shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Walker but Walker pushes him off and we're back to square one. Walker looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Jim with a poor takedown and Walker counters by clinching up. Walker is trying to trip Jim. He has hold of a leg but Jim is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Walker persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Jim wants to stand but Walker is controlling the position. Walker stopping the sweep attempt from Jim. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jim is looking for a triangle but Walker pushes his legs off easily.
Walker trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jim trying to control the position.
Walker engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jim is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Walker dives into side control.
Walker decides to stand back up. Walker steps back and let's Jim get back to his feet. Excellent takedown into side control there by Walker.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walker controls the position. Walker decides to stand back up. Walker steps back and let's Jim get back to his feet. Walker shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Walker was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Jim can't do much from the bottom here. Jay Walker has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker happy to just control the position for now. Walker trying to control the action but Jim is working from the bottom. Jim looks to move to half guard but instead Walker has passed into mount! Damn! Walker looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Walker avoids the attempt from Jim to control. Jim working to try and regain half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jim is working hard here to advance position. Walker connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Walker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Walker misses with a series of wild punches.
Jim takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Jim tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Walker swivels and escapes. Jay Walker seems to be getting the better of the standup. Walker closes the distance and clinches. Walker tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jim just stands there and leans against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Walker ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Walker no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Jim trying to control the position from guard on top but Walker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jim wants to stand but Walker is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jim wants to pass the guard but Walker is keeping the position. Jim wants to control from the top but Walker keeps moving. Jim trying to move into half guard but instead Walker has managed to sweep! Jim controls Walker momentarily but Walker frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Walker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jim swivels though and keeps the full guard. Walker won't allow Jim to sweep him here. Walker stands up from guard. Let's bang! Jim shoots in but no luck this time. Walker lands a nice looking body kick. Walker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jim went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jim shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Walker holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Judo Jim. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jim looking to slow down the pace here. Walker successfully pulls guard.
Walker working for a triangle but Jim defends it easily.
Walker takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Walker is pulling down on Jim's head to control his posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jim trying to control the position from guard on top but Walker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jim is really struggling to control Walker but he's trying to hold on to the position. Jim throwing strikes from guard but Walker blocks nicely. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jim postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Walker is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jim, into his guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Jay Walker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Walker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
