Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zaurbek Tabolov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimi Koivisto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kimi Koivisto will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tabolov looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Koivisto working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tabolov. Koivisto is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Koivisto keeping moving, preventing Tabolov from controlling successfully. Tabolov throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Koivisto preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A punch lands to the side of Tabolov 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Tabolov looks up at the clock and then as Koivisto takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Tabolov smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Tabolov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koivisto looking for a sweep but Tabolov has passed into full mount! Oh no! Koivisto takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Koivisto tries to get back to half guard but can't. Koivisto is squirming around, avoiding Tabolov's attempts to control the action. Tabolov throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tabolov pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Koivisto is bucking up trying to escape but Tabolov cracks him with another couple of good strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koivisto wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Tabolov.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tabolov putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Tabolov misses with a head shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zaurbek Tabolov dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Tabolov not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The fighters are working up against the cage. Koivisto manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Koivisto gets underhooks to prevent Tabolov's takedown attempt.

Koivisto tries to bum rush Tabolov with a series of wild strikes but Tabolov uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Tabolov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Koivisto on his heels. He'll look to pass Koivisto's guard now, I'm sure. Tabolov postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Tabolov wants to control from the top but Koivisto keeps moving. Tabolov works over Koivisto with some ground and pound from guard. Koivisto is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tabolov is controlling him. Tabolov stopping the sweep attempt from Koivisto.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tabolov postures up in Koivisto's guard and throws a big left but Koivisto blocks it. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Tabolov in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Tabolov working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Tabolov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Koivisto works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tabolov shoots in for a double leg but Koivisto sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zaurbek Tabolov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tabolov shoots in but Koivisto avoids the takedown attempt easily. Tabolov sets himself, and Koivisto steps forward looking for the clinch! Tabolov avoids it this time. Tabolov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Koivisto swivels and escapes. Koivisto throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Koivisto moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Koivisto is breathing heavily. Koivisto throws a combination. Tabolov tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Oh Tabolov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Koivisto throws a right hand that Tabolov ducks under and follows up with a left that Tabolov also avoids with ease. Tabolov misses with a takedown attempt - Koivisto sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Koivisto misses with a series of wild punches.

Tabolov throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Koivisto works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Kimi Koivisto showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Zaurbek Tabolov overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Tabolov throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tabolov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Koivisto avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Koivisto scores with a crisp jab that stopped Tabolov in his tracks. An inside leg kick lands from Koivisto. Koivisto throws a nice looking combination but Tabolov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tabolov shoots in and bounces Koivisto off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Koivisto takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Tabolov looking to sit in guard and control but Koivisto gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Koivisto working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Koivisto sitting in guard here, content to control. Tabolov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tabolov manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Koivisto manages to get himself to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Zaurbek Tabolov showed his dominance in that final round. I think Tabolov has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
