Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elias Al Haddad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blind Shaman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shaman has chosen Showdown as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Elias Al Haddad! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Blind Shaman! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Kavanagh and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Al Haddad bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Shaman's head. Al Haddad avoids a kick to the body.
Shaman shoots for a double leg takedown but Al Haddad sprawls well. He's pushed Shaman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. As Shaman tries to get set, Al Haddad tries to push him back and clinch up but Shaman manages to avoid the attempt. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Shaman has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Al Haddad throws a good cross that connects.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Shaman jumps guard but Al Haddad stands there with Shaman around his waist. Shaman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Al Haddad takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Al Haddad lands with a light punch inside. Al Haddad lands with a short shot to the head. Al Haddad blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Al Haddad misses with an elbow over the top. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Come on Al Haddad - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Shaman. Shaman lands on the inside with an uppercut. Al Haddad lands a right hand. A shot in the inside from Al Haddad. A right handed body shot lands from Al Haddad.
Al Haddad is pushing Shaman up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Shaman is working for takedown but Al Haddad is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shaman throws a head punch that misses. Shaman lands with a right to the head. Shaman swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Shaman goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Shaman can't find room to land a body shot as Al Haddad controls the action.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Al Haddad misses with a hook to the ribs.
The referee is keeping an eye on Al Haddad - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Shaman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Al Haddad just stands there and leans against the cage. Shaman pulls guard successfully.
Al Haddad loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Al Haddad controlling from the top position. Al Haddad connects with a couple of short punches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Elias Al Haddad dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A jab from Al Haddad finds it's way through Shaman's defenses. Shaman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Al Haddad. Shaman looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Al Haddad's jab looks to have found its range, popping Shaman under the eye. Shaman dives in for a single leg takedown but Al Haddad sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Al Haddad lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shaman circles away quickly and effectively. Shaman looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. A telegraphed right hand from Shaman misses the target. Shaman throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shaman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Al Haddad. Al Haddad lands a jab. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Al Haddad is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Al Haddad fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Shaman, pushing him back against the cage. Al Haddad lands with a light punch inside. Shaman looking to slow down the pace here. Al Haddad lands a right hand that snaps the head of Shaman backwards. A quick uppercut on the inside from Shaman. Shaman throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. With the fighters up against the cage, Shaman throws an elbow but misses. Shaman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Al Haddad just stands there and leans against the cage. Al Haddad lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Al Haddad avoiding damage.

Both guys are working to get underhooks. Al Haddad swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Shaman lands a left hand that snaps the head of Al Haddad backwards. Al Haddad escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shaman defending well as Al Haddad loads up on a big left hand. Al Haddad scores with a one two! Shaman had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Elias Al Haddad dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

He's pushed Al Haddad off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Al Haddad screams in pain and taps out!
