The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turshatov fails with the takedown
letting Tyrma counter with a right hand.
Alexey Turshatov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyrma fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Turshatov looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tyrma displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Turshatov.
Tyrma was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Tyrma stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Alexey Turshatov has been cut.

Nice takedown defense from Tyrma. No joy for Turshatov on that attempt.
A counter left hand to the body from Tyrma misses its target.

and Tyrma counters with a nice uppercut.
Tyrma scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

and Tyrma counters with a right hand to the body.
Turshatov drops his hands momentarily. Tyrma doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Turshatov staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Turshatov doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
